Finrock teaches what you can build and what you can do with money — engineering, the systems a business runs on, and the markets. Different subjects, one way of teaching them.
Most courses teach the tool. Almost none teach the decision.
You can learn a framework, an ERP module or a chart pattern from a video. What is much harder to find is someone who will sit with you while you use it on something that matters, and tell you where your reasoning went wrong.
That gap got wider, not smaller, once AI could do the mechanical part. The typing is cheap now. Knowing what to ask for, and recognising a wrong answer when it arrives, is the whole job — and it is what every Finrock course is built around.
Four things that are true of every course here
You work on the real thing
Not a sandbox exercise marked against an answer key. A deployed application, a configured ERP against a real brief, a trading plan with your own rules in it — whatever the course produces, it exists after the course ends.
AI does the mechanical half
Every course assumes you are directing an agent rather than typing everything yourself. What we teach is the judgement: what to ask for, and how to tell when what comes back is wrong.
Taught by people still doing it
Mentors who ship software, run implementations and trade — reviewing the work you actually produced, not reading from a deck.
We say what we don't know
No course here promises a salary, a placement or a return. Where a subject carries real risk of loss, the page says so plainly rather than in small print at the bottom.
