Who we are

Finrock Academy is an education provider based at Office 2107, 1st Floor, Phase 2, HiLITE Business Park, Poovangal, Kozhikode, Kerala 673014. We run courses in AI and engineering, business systems and the financial markets, taught online and as offline batches at our Kozhikode campus.

What we collect

We only collect what you give us. There is no account to create in order to browse the site, and we do not buy personal data from anyone.

When you submit an enquiry or request a callback, we collect:

• your name
• your email address
• your phone number
• the course you are asking about, if you tell us
• anything you write in the message field
• the page or form the enquiry came from, and the date and time

If you enrol on a course, we also hold the records needed to run it — your attendance, the work you submit, and any payment reference the team records against your name.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising cookies, and there is no analytics or tracking script on this site. What the site does store is limited to:

• a country cookie, set so the site can format your phone number correctly and show the right currency
• a session cookie, set only after you sign in to a course you have enrolled on
• your name, email and phone in your own browser's local storage, so a form you have filled in once does not ask again — this never leaves your device unless you submit the form

You can clear all of these from your browser at any time. Nothing on the public site stops working if you do.

What we use it for

Answering your enquiry, arranging the callback you asked for, and telling you about the course you asked about. If you enrol, we use it to run the course and to contact you about it.

We do not send marketing about unrelated courses to people who asked about one specific course, and we do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for their own marketing.

Who else sees it

Only the service providers we need to operate, and only for that purpose:

• our website and database hosting, which stores enquiries
• our email provider, which sends the messages we send you
• our payment processors, where a payment is actually taken — note that fees are currently arranged directly with our team rather than collected on this website

We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while we are still in contact with you about a course, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Student records are kept for as long as we need them to evidence that a course was delivered.

Ask us to delete your details and we will, unless we are required to keep something by law.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, to complete it if it is missing something, and to erase it. You can also withdraw consent you have given us, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.

Grievances

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, raise it with us first. If we cannot resolve it, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Our courses are intended for adults. Where a learner is under eighteen, we ask that a parent or guardian makes the enquiry and gives consent.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be notified to anyone we currently hold an enquiry or enrolment for.
