Helpful but not assumed. Python is taught from the ground up, scoped to what Odoo development actually uses rather than as a general language course.
It contains all of it, then adds the development half — Python, the ORM, custom modules, QWeb reports, security rules, the external API and deployment.
The technical ground is covered. What separates a first paid engagement from a finished course is usually practical exposure and a portfolio module, both of which this produces.
Yes. Finrock runs a one-month Odoo internship on live client work with a mentor reviewing everything you do. It is not a course and is not part of this programme — it is a separate placement, arranged on request.
